Effective date: 2 August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how tutoring.serenellamuradoregallas.info (the Website) uses cookies and similar technologies.
The Website is operated by Serenella Muradore Gallas, acting as an independent individual educational service provider. Questions about this Policy or the Website's privacy choices may be sent to privacy@serenellamuradoregallas.info.
This Policy should be read together with the Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small data files stored on a computer, phone, tablet or other device when a person visits a website.
The Website may also use technologies that perform similar functions, including browser local storage, pixels and web beacons, tags and scripts, consent records, device or browser identifiers, server logs, and embedded or linked third-party tools.
In this Policy, the word cookies may be used as a convenient collective term for cookies and comparable storage or access technologies.
First-party technologies are placed or controlled through the Website's own domain.
Third-party technologies are provided by another organisation, such as an analytics, scheduling or email provider. A third party may process information under its own privacy and cookie terms.
The Website may link to an external service without embedding it. In that case, the external service normally begins setting or reading its own technologies only after the visitor follows the link and enters that provider's website.
Session technologies normally expire when the browser is closed.
Persistent technologies remain for a defined period, until the visitor deletes them, or until the relevant provider or Website configuration resets them.
The exact duration depends on the technology and configuration described below.
These technologies support functions such as delivering Website pages, maintaining security and network stability, processing a form requested by the visitor, remembering cookie choices, preventing abuse or technical errors, and enabling core Website functionality.
Strictly necessary technologies do not require consent where they are genuinely essential to provide a service requested by the visitor. They cannot be switched off from within the Website, although they may be blocked through browser settings. Blocking them may prevent parts of the Website from working correctly.
Preference technologies remember optional choices, such as interface or language settings.
No preference technology of this kind is currently used. If a preference feature is added, this Policy and the consent banner will be updated before it goes live.
Analytics technologies help understand how visitors use the Website: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive at the Website, general device and browser information, approximate geographic information, whether a non-sensitive Website interaction was completed, and Website performance and technical errors.
Analytics must remain disabled before consent where prior consent is required. Analytics data must not contain names, email addresses, detailed student information, diagnoses, schools, free-text answers or other sensitive information.
Advertising technologies may measure advertising performance, attribute conversions, create audiences or support personalised advertising.
The tutoring Website does not use advertising technology as permission to profile a student, infer a child's diagnosis or educational difficulty, or build behavioural audiences based on sensitive tutoring enquiries.
No advertising technology is currently used on the Website. If any is added, this Policy will be updated first, and it will run only in accordance with the visitor's consent and applicable law.
On the first visit, a banner appears at the foot of the page with two buttons, Accept and Reject. Accept turns on the optional analytics technologies described below. Reject leaves them off. The banner does not offer a choice by category, because analytics is the only optional category currently in use.
Optional categories must not be preselected. Continuing to browse, scrolling or closing the banner does not by itself constitute consent.
Optional technologies stay off until the visitor accepts them. Analytics storage is set to denied by default and is enabled only after the visitor presses Accept. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, by the routes described in the next paragraph and in section 10. Changing a choice affects future processing and does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
The Website does not currently provide a cookie preference control in its footer, so a recorded choice cannot yet be changed from within the page. A visitor who wants to change or withdraw a choice can clear this domain's cookies and local storage in their browser settings and then reload the page, which removes the stored choice and brings the banner back. A visitor may also write to privacy@serenellamuradoregallas.info to withdraw consent, and the withdrawal will be applied.
The providers associated with the Website are Webflow, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Mailchimp, Calendly and PayPal. The table below describes the technologies that run on the Website itself. Calendly, Mailchimp and PayPal are described after the table.
| Provider or technology | Category | Purpose | Typical duration | When active |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Webflow hosting and form infrastructure | Strictly necessary | Hosts the Website, delivers pages, processes requested forms and supports security and technical operation. | Session or provider-defined, depending on the function. | When required to deliver the Website or a requested form. |
| Website consent mechanism | Strictly necessary | Records the visitor's cookie choice in this domain's local storage. | Until the visitor clears this domain's local storage. | After the visitor records a choice. |
| Google Tag Manager | Functional tag container | Manages Website tags and applies the configured consent rules. Google Tag Manager is not itself permission to activate optional tags. | Not applicable as a standalone cookie duration. | The container may load, but optional tags must respect consent settings. |
| Google Analytics 4 | Analytics | Measures aggregated Website use and non-sensitive Website events. Common identifiers may include _ga and _ga_ followed by the measurement id. | Commonly up to 2 years, subject to configuration and browser controls. | Only after analytics consent where prior consent is required. |
Google Tag Manager can control several tags. The presence of the container does not mean that every tag inside it is active. Each tag must have the correct consent settings and must be tested separately.
The Website does not link visitors to Calendly booking pages, and no Calendly technology loads on the Website. Admission to the tutoring programme is by written application, and any admissions interview is scheduled by personal invitation after an application has been reviewed. Where such an invitation contains a Calendly scheduling link, following that link takes the invitee to a website operated by Calendly, which may use session cookies, persistent cookies, local storage and comparable technologies. Calendly provides its own regional cookie banner and cookie-preference controls, and its pages are governed by Calendly's own privacy and cookie documentation.
Calendly is not embedded in the Website. If that changes, this Policy will be updated before the embed goes live, and any Calendly technology that loads before the visitor interacts with it will be brought under the consent banner.
Mailchimp may be used to deliver a requested resource, newsletter or related email communication. Depending on the exact form and email configuration, Mailchimp may process form-submission information, delivery and bounce information, unsubscribe records, email-open information through a tracking pixel, and link-interaction information.
The newsletter and resource forms are Mailchimp forms embedded in the page. On a page that contains one of those forms, a Mailchimp script loads in order to validate the form before it is submitted. Email-open and link tracking inside Mailchimp emails is used only where it is legally permitted and disclosed. A person may unsubscribe from optional email communications at any time.
The Website may direct a client to an external payment provider, such as PayPal. A payment provider may use its own necessary, fraud-prevention, preference, analytics or advertising technologies after the visitor enters the provider's website or checkout environment.
The Website does not state that a payment provider places cookies through this domain unless the provider is actually embedded or technically integrated in a way that does so.
Because the Website concerns students and may involve enquiries made on behalf of minors, stricter tracking rules apply.
Analytics and advertising tags must not be used on the following areas unless a specific privacy and technical review confirms that the implementation is lawful and appropriately minimised: client portals, onboarding questionnaires, session pages, private document repositories, safeguarding reports, research-consent pages, payment-dispute pages, and pages displaying submitted application details.
The Website must not place the following information in URLs, page titles, data-layer variables, analytics parameters, advertising events or pixel payloads: student or parent names; email addresses or phone numbers; precise ages or dates of birth; diagnoses or suspected diagnoses; disability, neurodevelopmental or health information; school, university or teacher names; course details where they identify the student; free-text form answers; urgency, family concern or safeguarding information; reasons why an applicant may or may not be a fit; uploaded documents; and payment-card or bank information.
Where analytics consent has been given, the Website may record neutral events indicating only that a general Website action occurred, such as a fit request being started or submitted, an external booking link being clicked, a resource being requested, or a newsletter signup. These events must not include the content of the form or information about the student.
The Website must not knowingly direct behavioural advertising at a child; create audiences based on a child's diagnosis, disability or educational difficulty; combine tutoring-enquiry information with advertising profiles; use form answers to create lookalike or similar audiences; or use client or student records for retargeting.
Strictly necessary technologies are used to operate the Website, provide a function requested by the visitor, maintain security or record privacy choices.
Where GDPR-style rules apply, optional analytics, preference or advertising technologies rely on consent when consent is legally required.
Other jurisdictions may provide additional rights, including rights concerning access, deletion, correction, opt-out or the use of personal information for targeted advertising. More information is available in the Privacy Policy.
Cookie and storage retention depends on the technology. Session technologies normally expire when the browser session ends. Consent preferences remain for the period configured by the Website or until they are deleted or reset. Google Analytics identifiers may remain for up to the period configured in Google Analytics, commonly up to two years. Third-party services apply their own retention periods.
The Website does not retain cookie-derived information longer than reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, applicable legal duties, security or the establishment and defence of legal claims.
Visitors can manage cookies through their browser settings, private or incognito browsing, deletion of this domain's cookies and local storage, or the settings offered by the relevant third-party provider. A visitor may also write to privacy@serenellamuradoregallas.info to withdraw consent.
Most browsers allow users to view, block and delete cookies. The exact steps depend on the browser and device. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect form submission, preference storage or other Website functions. Deleting the Website's consent record may cause the consent banner to appear again.
Browsers and devices may offer signals such as Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. The Website does not claim automatic support for every browser signal unless that response has been technically implemented and tested. A visitor who wants to communicate a choice should use the banner shown on the first visit, their browser controls, or an email to privacy@serenellamuradoregallas.info.
The Website does not intend to sell personal information or use tutoring-enquiry information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Third-party providers may change their cookies, identifiers, purposes or retention periods. The Website operator is responsible for accurately describing the technologies deliberately implemented through this Website. Third-party websites are also responsible for the technologies they use in their own environments.
A link to a third party does not mean that the Website controls all of that provider's privacy practices.
This Policy may be updated when the Website's technology changes, a provider is added, removed or reconfigured, cookie durations or purposes change, legal or regulatory requirements change, or the tutoring service introduces a new form, portal, payment flow or embedded tool.
The effective date at the top of the Policy identifies the current version. Where a material change affects an existing consent choice, the Website may reset the stored preference and ask the visitor to choose again.
Questions or requests concerning cookies, consent choices or personal information may be sent to Serenella Muradore Gallas at privacy@serenellamuradoregallas.info.
You can change your mind at any time. Selecting the control below clears the choice stored on this device and shows the consent banner again, so you can accept or reject afresh. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.
