Refund and Rescheduling Policy
Effective date: 3 August 2026
This page summarises the payment, rescheduling and withdrawal rules for the tutoring programme. The complete Service Terms and the signed Client Agreement control if there is a conflict.
What is sold
The Provider offers a single service: a place on a selective one-to-one tutoring programme that runs for the academic year, beginning in September 2026. A place is billed monthly for the duration of the programme year. Nothing is sold by the session, by the hour or as a package of sessions, and there is no prepaid balance of sessions to draw down.
The educational baseline
Before a place is confirmed there is a one-time educational baseline, charged at $500. It is a teaching-based step, used to decide whether the Provider will work with the student and to build that student's plan. It is not a clinical or psychological assessment and produces no diagnosis and no formal documentation. The fee is not refundable once the educational baseline has been delivered. If it is not delivered, the fee is refunded in full.
Monthly fees
Programme fees are $1,000, $2,000 or $3,000 per month, depending on the tier of engagement stated in the Service Order. Fees are payable in advance, on the same date each month, for the duration of the programme year. Across a full school year this is approximately $10,500 to $30,500, the educational baseline included. A monthly fee is not refunded once the month to which it relates has begun, except as set out below or where mandatory law requires otherwise.
Missed sessions
Sessions are online and weekly, at a fixed time between Monday and Friday. Because the unit sold is a month of teaching and not an individual session, a missed session is not refunded and does not carry into the following month. One session may be rescheduled per calendar month, where the request reaches the Provider at least 24 hours before the session is due to start and a suitable slot is available. A request made with less notice, non-attendance, or a technical problem on the Client's side is treated as a delivered session.
Withdrawal during the year
A Client may withdraw from the programme by giving one calendar month's written notice by email. The fee for the current month is not refunded. No further monthly fees are owed once the notice period has ended. The place is then released, and the Provider is under no obligation to hold it open or to offer it again later in the same year.
If the Provider cancels
When the Provider cancels a session, a replacement session will be offered. If no reasonable replacement can be given within the same month, a pro-rata credit for the affected session is applied against the following month's fee, or refunded where mandatory law requires.
Mandatory rights
This Policy does not override rights that cannot legally be waived. Where the Client is an EU or EEA consumer entering a distance contract, a statutory 14-day withdrawal right may apply from the day after the contract is concluded. Because the programme is a recurring monthly service that ordinarily begins before that period has ended, the Client is asked to make an express request for performance to begin. If the Client then withdraws within the 14 days, the Client pays a proportionate amount for the teaching already provided, including the educational baseline where it has been delivered, and the balance is refunded.
How to request
Send a rescheduling or billing request to hello@serenellamuradoregallas.info and include the Client name, the Student name and the billing month concerned. Notice of withdrawal must be given in writing to the same address.
